Students audition for the role of Clara with two dancers chosen. Other Leads include The Mouse King, two Maids, a Snowman, and more! Fleet-Wood has amassed a large collection of costumes over the years to dress both students and teachers, Sharron Fleet, Director enjoys playing the role of “Grandma Ginger”. Colin Eccles is “Uncle Drosselmeyer”. Sierra Maraj is “Snow Queen”. Jonathan Fleet is both the Cavalier and Snowman. Every Saturday from September until the December performance the cast gathers for a two-hour rehearsal.
Christmas Living Windows is another yearly tradition where dancers dress in their Nutcracker costumes and perform mini ballet in the store windows of Historic Downtown Collingwood.
